When visiting your local animal shelter, it is most likely full of cats, dogs, puppies and kittens. The reality is that the shelter will continue to take in unwanted, stray and abandoned animals each and every day, but you can help make a difference. Spaying and neutering a pet eliminates unwanted litters, decreases the surplus of pets in our community, lowers shelter intake, and gives those animals in your area shelter a better chance at finding a new home.

Spay Kansas and Spay Missouri are programs of Spay & Neuter Kansas City. Our mission is to educate and provide resources to pet owners in need of affordable spay neuter services to help decrease pet overpopulation.

Spay Kansas/Missouri serves as a state-wide resource to:

•Locate affordable spay neuter programs throughout Kansas and Missouri.

•Refer pet owners in need of such services to a low cost spay neuter program in their area.

•Encourage and recruit the private practice veterinarian sector to provide affordable spay neuter services to pet owners in need.
