WELCOME TO SPAY & NEUTER KANSAS CITY

Spay & Neuter Kansas City (“SNKC”) is a 501c3 organization formed in 2002. We work closely with private practice veterinarians dedicated to the concept of providing low-cost spay and neuter services for pet owners with financial need. SNKC does not provide subsidized surgery to those who can readily afford such services, nor does it expect private veterinarians to provide services free of charge. SNKC raises funds to cover spay neuter expenses for owners who otherwise could not afford to have their pets neutered.

SPAY & NEUTER KANSAS CITY'S $500,000 CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

SNKC has been temporarily operating out of a Midtown warehouse courtesy of a generous property owner, but now the warehouse is being redeveloped and we must move. SNKC has secured a new building but it must undergo significant renovation in order to be inhabitable. We need to raise $500,000 to cover the costs of renovating the building and purchasing equipment necessary for our operations.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Spay & Neuter Kansas City is committed to making a difference by:

  • Providing our services only for pet owners who demonstrate financial need,
  • Not turning away any pet owners because of their inability to pay,
  • Promoting responsible pet ownership through our Outreach Program (We do not wait for pet owners to call us; we seek out the pets at highest risk of contributing to pet overpopulation),
  • Using donor dollars for delivery of services to the public,
  • Assisting abused and neglected animals in our community.

Spay & Neuter Kansas City depends on the support of the community to continue our mission. Donating to SNKC will help spay and neuter more pets and allow us to continue our programs.
