We are a non-profit organization and our program is based on each pet owners individual needs.  It is our goal to help  each and every pet owner in need of such services.   Some restrictions or qualifications may apply and those who qualify are not turned away for their inability to pay.

SNKC has been at the forefront of targeted spaying and neutering and have been providing high volume, high quality spay neuter services to pet owners for over 10 years.  Our veterinarians are experts and specialize in spay neuter surgeries.

• SNKC staff members are caring, compassionate and well trained to assist you and your pet(s) needs from the time you are making the appointment, day of surgery and post care of your pet.
• SNKC now offers the (optional)  non-surgerical neutering procedure Zeuterin™  for male dogs only.  Ask about this procedure or for more information visit the Zueterin website.
• Our veterinarians are experts in high quality, high volume spay neuter.
• All pets are monitored throughout recovery.
• Sutures are dissolvable so no need for a return visit.
• We can spay and neuter animals as early as 8 weeks old or 3lbs
• Our program is for those who cannot otherwise afford such services.
• Our staff will go over all of the services offered at our clinic, make recommendations based on you and your pet(s) needs.
• Animals over the age of 6 years old may need pre-surgical blood work and a pre-exam from our veterinarian.  We can do that through our walk-in wellness clinic.
• All animals go home same day of surgery.
• It is mandatory for all Pit Bull’s to be spayed and neutered that reside within the Kansas City, Missouri city limits. Special Pit Bull spay and neuter assistance is available to Pit Bull owners who cannot afford to spay or neuter their dog.
