I currently serve as Vice President, Human Resources at Medac Pharma, Inc. Before joining Medac Pharma, I was Sr. Vice President Global Human Resources at Celgene Corporation. I also spent 15 years at Marion Laboratories and its successor companies, where I progressed through human resources roles of increasing responsibility.
I joined Spay and Neuter Kansas City as part of the volunteer program in the spring of 2013. It quickly became apparent that the Spay and Neuter Kansas City commitment/mission in reducing the number of unwanted animals entering shelters, and providing homeless animals the chance to live happier, healthier, longer lives has made a positive difference for pets, their families and our community.
Volunteering at Spay and Neuter Kansas City provides an opportunity to join a solution-oriented team lending a hand in advancing the mission of responsible pet ownership and animal protection, as well as ensuring that all pet owners, regardless of economic capacity can afford to spay or neuter their pets.
I spend as much of my “off time” as possible with my husband Mel, our four children and seven grandchildren, and our two furry rescue kids – Murphy and Hogan.
